IF YOU DO A JUICE CLEANSE MAKE SURE ALL THE JUICES TASTE GOOD OR YOU WILL HATE YOUR LIFE. AND BE POOR.
David and I got the bright idea of doing a 3 day juice cleanse.
After watching the Documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" about four years ago, I got a juicer because I was sure I'd use it all the time. I think I used it for a week.
Since we had the juicer, we thought it would be a nice way to just get a quick health spurt into our lives. We chose to do a 3-day cleanse that I found online from that documentary.

Was.

First of all, we bought over $100 worth of fruits and veggies for THREE DAYS worth of eating:
(these grocery bags are big, and this food filled up an entire cart to the top)
Most expensive 3 days of food in my life. And then when we juiced all of it, we had a whole trash can full of fruit/vegetable pulp. It just felt like a waste.
Second of all, some of the juices tasted so bad we chose to go hungry rather than drink them. Most of the juices were fine, but there was one that had David and I gagging.
We stuck with it and finished the three days, but if I could do it over I would choose more yummy juices instead of swiss chard and tomatoes. But I did learn what swiss chard is, so there's that.
