If I had to choose any picture to sum up my relationship with David, it would be this one.
This is both the truest and the cutest thing I have ever seen. I, of course, am the orange kitten.

April Fool's
I have never really gotten into April Fool's day pranks. I always wanted to, but nobody ever pranked me, and I was no good at coming up with pranks (believe me, I tried on more than one occasion and nobody was fooled). David's family, on the other hand, has always pranked each other on April Fool's day. This year I told him I wanted him to pull a prank on me. I asked him if he wanted a prank too, but he said no. It takes a little bit of the fun out of the prank when I'm expecting it, but David still got me really good.
So it was the night before April first and I was still up doing school work and such around midnight. That's when I got an email from my credit card company. I have only owned a credit card for a total of two months. I only have it so that I can build some credit, so all I buy on my card is gas, and I pay it off every single month. All our other necessities are paid with cash because it is easier for us to keep a budget that way. So I literally spend $60 each month on my credit card each month and I have an automated payment system that pays off the entire balance at the end of each month. You can imagine how flustered I was when I got this e-mail at 12:00am on April 1st.
I only spend $60 a month, I have only had the card for two months, AND I HAVE $341.45 IN INTEREST TO PAY??!! Oh I started to freak out. I immediately called David over and asked him how this was possible. He was the one who set up the automatic payment, so of course I had an accusatory tone as I furiously talked to him. Then I tried to sign on to the discover website to check my payment history and of course I forgot my login information, which just put me even more on edge. I was essentially yelling at David that he needed to call Discover while I figured out my login information, and in the midst of all the madness I got another e-mail.
David had created a gmail account called discoverstatements and sent me the first e-mail when I was sitting right next to him doing my school work not paying attention (he got the formatting by copying and pasting an old e-mail that Discover had sent him). Then when he saw how much I was freaking out he went over to his computer (again, right next to me) and sent the April Fools e-mail, but I was so busy figuring out my login information that I didn't even notice him sending the e-mail. He got me good. Especially because I didn't even realize it was April 1st yet since it was only midnight. Touche David, Touche.

Too early.
Sometimes you wake up early to turn in homework on campus dressed like a doofus because you didn't want to waste time getting ready and you don't think you'll see anyone you know since it is so early. Unfortunately, you will see at least five people you know in the three minutes you are on campus before you go back home. It is your lucky day.
Here's the getup. Retainers and all.

Wind Burrrrrrrn!
We went skiing recently and it was amazing. It was sunny and warm and a perfect day for skiing. Nothing could dampen our spirits.
Until we got home.
And had chapped, wind burned, and sun burned skin.

Mismatched
We went out to dinner with Nat, Jon, and Stef tonight.
It has been so warm this weekend that I decided to wear sandals. I have a few pairs, so I picked my two favorite and put one of each on each foot and then asked David which went better with my outfit. He told me, then I continued getting ready. We left to go eat dinner and on the ride over I quietly muttered "crap." David looked over and asked, "what?". Then I showed him this.
I forgot to put on the other sandal that David said he liked better. I went all night like this.
And then we went to get frozen yogurt and my yogurt looked like human feces.
I ate it anyways.

What's Your Name?
This happened the other day. I was showing my boss/professor what I was working on and he was really impressed. So impressed that he wanted to show it to another professor who is interested in what I was doing. Together we walked over to another building where the professor was in a meeting with maybe 15 undergraduate and graduate students. All eyes were on us since we just interrupted their meeting. My boss started showing the professor what I was working on and when he was done the professor looked up at me and asked, "What was your name again?" I think he might have had a lazy eye or something, but I couldn't tell that he was looking at me, so I just looked around awkwardly until my boss turned to him and said, "Her name is Amanda." SO embarrassing.

P90X
*This post will not make sense unless you have done P90X before*
So David and I started up P90X again at the start of the semester, and there are just some things that really bug me about some of the videos.
1. In the Ab Ripper X video on the very first exercise the guy in the back has his hands up the whole time to make it harder, then like .05 seconds before Tony turns around the black guy puts his hands up and Tony praises him for making the exercise harder. WE ALL KNOW THE GUY IN THE BACK IS MORE HARD CORE!! He deserves some credit.
2. There is some serious sexual tension between Dreya and Tony. He's always like "your boyfriend is a lucky man" and other comments like that. Lay off. She is taken. Sheesh.
3. Remember German Potato girl? Everything about her bugs me. She is a giggly little school girl when she is working out. Normal people aren't like that. And she keeps trying to out do the guys! When the guys say they will do 20 pull ups she says she will do 21. Seriously?! You are just trying to show off and it's annoying.
4. Tony always raves about the "Karen Pot Stirrer" stretch and we do it probably twice every workout. The pot stirrer is probably the worst stretch on there. I don't feel it anywhere. All you do is swing your arm around in a circle.
5. "Scissor? Get it?" This is just annoying because I can't get it out of my head. Ever. I think I bring that up in my every day conversations on a regular basis.
6. The guy who posted this http://legeytimate.wordpress.com/2010/09/27/the-p90x-players/ gets me. It is his list of the five people on P90X that annoy him the most.
7. Tony seriously does like 5% of each workout. He brags about how he's using such heavy weights, "Not everyone can do this" but he is constantly taking breaks claiming he has to "check the kids" to make sure they are doing it right. I think he's secretly not in that good of shape. He is just really bulky.
Okay, but one thing that I laugh out loud at every time is a joke Tony makes. During the quad stretch he has his hand on a stool for balance. He says to grab a chair, or a brother or a sister or an uncle to balance. Then he points at his stool and says "That's a short uncle right there." Hahahah gets me every time.
