Make sure that if you park your car on a slanted hill you really slam the door shut. If you just lightly close it, you will come back an hour later to find the door WIDE open. You'll have a mini panic attack because you'll think someone stole everything valuable in the car (which is, like, everything valuable that you own plus your pass to Comic-Con for that day), only to find out that the people of Encinitas aren't thieves and really you just didn't close the door all the way so it swung back open because you parked on a slant.
This is how we came back to find the car (David is inside, shame-faced that he didn't close it all the way.)
